How to Enable Automation with VM Automation Cloud Robots on Remote Desktop

Step 1. Go to UiPath Orchestration. There, go to the Virtual Machine Pool.

Step 2. Click the three dots against the VM and select Enable Remote Desktop connection.

Now, you will get the message of successfully enabling the connection.

Step 3. Return to the machines, click the informational button, and get the IP address.

You can put the IP address in your favorite remote desktop application and connect to the machine.

Step 4. You will get a message and click on Continue.

Once logged in, you may download whatever piece of software your company needs and then you can install it.

Step 5. Install the SAP application and log in to the application.

Step 6. Return to UiPath and click Enable Accept Jobs for the motion configured.

Step 7. Go back to the Machine. Select Add or Manage VMs from the three dots against your VM and select View Logs, where you can see the logs for specific VMs.

Step 9. Navigate to the Folder, create a new folder for Cloud robot VMs, and add the user to access the robots and the machines.

Step 10. Go to Machines, click Manage Machines in Folder, and select the machine. Click the Update button.

Step 11. To change the user, navigate to the Manage Access tab, click three dots against the target user, and select Edit.

Step 12. Click Unattended Setup, check the box Allow unattended robots to run automation as this user, and select Use a specific Windows user.

Step 13. Provide a username and password and click the Next button. Click the Create button.

If this is the only job, it starts running automatically, or select the process to run.
